Madison – Erma Reinecke Collins, age 90, a lifelong resident of Dane County, passed away on September 11, 2013.

She was born on March 21, 1923 in Berry Township to Henry W. and Amanda (Marten) Reinecke. She was a longtime employee of Rennebohm/Walgreen Drug Stores. She was a member of Lakeview Lutheran Church and its Lydia Circle. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Clair Collins on September 12, 1942.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn Yanke of Prairie du Sac, Virginia Collins of Grand Haven, MI, Jean (Edward) Mick of Sun Prairie, Roger (Mary) Collins of Stoughton and Mary (friend Mark Martin) Collins of Oregon; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, Una Wolff; nephew, Allen Reinecke and his family of Howe, TX; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son-in-law, Jim Yanke, daughter Donna and her husband David Nelson and their daughters, Angela and Michelle, in a 1977 auto accident.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Lakeview Lutheran Church, 4001 Mandrake Road, with Rev. Dean Kirst officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the church. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bethel Lutheran TV Broadcast.
