Emil J. Tiradani, age 96 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Valentine Joseph celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 11:00 A.M.
Emil was born November 8, 1915 in Hurley, Wisconsin the son of Demetrio and Lema (Beauchamp) Tiradani. He married Helen J. Coughlin on April 10, 1944 at St. Mary's Church in Lyndon Station. He retired from Walter Meyer Sausage Company of Hurley and Ironwood in 1975. His hobbies were woodworking, model railroading and helping his neighbors. For the past 19 years he has resided in Lyndon Station.
Emil is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen; daughter, Trisha (Stanley) Borawski of Lyndon Station; son, Michael (Karen) Tiradani of Cottage Grove, WI; brother, Joseph (Mary) of Bessemer, MI; sister, Edythe Richardson of Minneapolis, MN; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Edward; sister, Florence Nichols and a daughter, Linda M. Fuss.
