David Sebero, age 67, of Mineral Point and formerly of Janesville, died at home on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Marinette on Oct. 22, 1946, the son of Elizabeth Godgluck. He attended high school in New Berlin, and served in the U.S. Army. David married Terry Bassett on Aug. 1, 1970, in Marion, IA, and retired from Stoughton Trailers. He had been a Janesville resident for 43 years, moving to Mineral Point last year. He loved the water and boating, and especially spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to many.
David is survived by his wife, Terry Sebero of Mineral Point; 3 children: Scott (Yayoi) Sebero of Japan, Sherry Hawkins of Brodhead and Christie (Craig) Kruckenberg of Kannapolis, NC; 6 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Chaeli, Carley, Ryo, Tatuski, and Takuma; and stepbrother, Charles (Dorothy) Godgluck of The Villages, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Rev. Neil Deupree officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
