David G. Henze, 64, of Fort Atkinson, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 14, 2016.
David was born on February 13, 1952 in Fort Atkinson, son of the late George Henze and Dorraine (Borre) McAllister. David married Alice Leastman on December 19, 1970.
David enjoyed the outdoors, ice fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and dogs. David was a very kind person who always meant well and had a great sense of humor. He also enjoyed cooking and playing cribbage. David was a very hard worker; he was a welder at Butler Manufacturing, J-Star and most recently at Lear Seating in Janesville. He also had been the owner of Blackhawk Bait and Tackle in Janesville.
David is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Paul (Jessica) Henze and Barbara (Jason Dimmel) Redenius; grandchildren, Austin (Karissa) Henze, Tiffany, Crystal, Holley and Chase Henze and Riley and Logan Redenius; brothers, Dennis, Joe and Charles McAllister; sister, Sandee (Bill) Camp and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home until time of service.
