JANESVILLE ---Damon Fredrick Hinkle, Sr., age 56, of Janesville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center.
He was born in Edgerton on April 26, 1957, the son of Douglas F. and Elsie (LaVeen) Hinkle. He attended Craig High School and was a very talented artist. Damon loved riding motorcycles, playing pool, Texas Hold-Em, having cookouts, and spending time with his family. Damon touched the lives of many people with his kind smile and generosity all the way to the end.
Damon will forever be remembered by his mother, Elsie Spade; step father, Oather (Bud) Spade; son, Damon (Bridget) Hinkle, Jr.; grandchildren, Tyler and Alexis; sisters, Delana (Jeff) Beall and Debra Erbs; brother, Dennis Hinkle; beloved nieces, Jennifer (Luke) Ciseski-McCalmont, Cassandra Schoff-Watrous and Brittney Beall; nephew, David Hinkle; treasured great nieces and nephews, Gavin, Cydney, Jarred, Mykenzie, Gillyan and Deziray (Ray Ray); great aunt, Barbara Brown; great uncle, James LaVeen; close friends, Nick, Rich, Don and Jake; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Hinkle; maternal grandparents, Walter and Marie LaVeen; baby brother, Oather Spade, Jr.; and his great uncles, Wallace and Robert LaVeen.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
