Brandon Rotar, age 35, of Stoughton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2013, but that is the way he was, full of surprises.
He was born on Jan. 4, 1978, the son of David Rotar and Connie Schulenburg. You were a brother, son, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. Each path that crossed Brandon, a friendship would form, stories would be told, and laughs would be heard. Brandon had a story for anything, and a fact for everything. He was the first person you would call; Brandon had an answer for anything and could find the solution to a problem. Brandon wouldn’t give up on you, or leave you alone. As he leaves us, he reunites with his best friend and father, David, with open arms and smiles. Brandon leaves this life to start another one. Full of horseshoes, frisbee golf, and fishing with his buddy once again. Soon our paths will cross again. Brandon loved Brewers baseball, Packers football, playing video games, spending as much time as possible with his nephews, Parker and Peyton.
He is survived by his mother, Connie; siblings, Bryce Rotar, Bridget (Jeff) Smith, Brandon Rotar, and Brent Schulenburg; nephews, Peyton and Parker Smith; grandma, JoAnn Rotar; and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David; and grandpa, Phillip.
