MADISON-Beverly L. Cass, age 46, passed away surrounded by her loved ones, on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 after battling breast cancer as hard as she could for the past eight months.
She was born March 4, 1970, the daughter of Gregory and Ramona (Uphoff) Cass.
Beverly was an employee with the State of Wisconsin for nearly 30 years. She could always be found spending time with her family, her four children, two grandchildren, and four dogs; Rootbeer, Sneak, Sasha and Maddie.
Beverly also loved spending time outdoors, playing games, watching movies and enjoying all of her youngest son's football events and practices, the East Side Sharks 8th grade team.
Beverly's passion was her children, and she was the definition of an outstanding mother for sure, but she was also a very dedicated football mom to the whole team! She was a very loving, kind, caring and selfless woman, and anyone who had the privilege to meet her could attest to that.
Beverly is survived by her mother, Ramona Cass; four children, Ashley (Chris) Prather, O'Dean Heimann II, Blaine Heimann and Le'Sauve Sanders; two grandchildren, Marlee and Le'Suave; brother. Scott (Dena) Cass; father of her children, O'Dean Heimann; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins whom she all loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Gregory Cass; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; one brother; one sister; two uncles; and one aunt.
A Celebration of Beverly's Life will be held at VFW POST NO. 7591, 301 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison, from 3:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016.
Please bring a dish to share if you are able.
The family would like to thank all the staff at UW Hospital for the care they provided Beverly through this trying time.
