Amy Jo McAllister, age 37 of Lake Delton, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Wisconsin Dells, WI with Father Dean Hekel officiating.

Amy was born September 6, 1976 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Emmet and Karen (Tindell) Hoppenjan. She married Collin McAllister at Holy Cross Episcopal Church on February 5, 2001. When able, Amy was employed by Parson’s Indian Trading Post where her artistic eye and appreciation of the Native American beadwork encouraged her to become a handcrafted jewelry artisan. An art she continued at home when she was no longer able to work building it into her dream business, the “Woven Butterfly”. Amy enjoyed people and was an active member in Jaycees where she met Collin, a former Lake Delton Lion and perpetual member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Amy is survived by her husband, Collin and his mother, Clista; brother, Emmet (Heather) Hoppenjan of DeForest, WI; sister, Cindy (Allen Miller) Stoney-Clayton of Janesville, WI; nephews, Gabe and Tom; niece, Lena and great nephew, Tom, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Collin, Jr. and niece, Katie.
