FITCHBURG-Virginia “Gee” Rose Dillman, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012. She was born on Aug. 6, 1926, in Madison. She married David B. Dillman on Nov. 22, 1947, in Madison. Gee mostly enjoyed raising her family, but she was also an artist for Ceramic Art Studio, co-owner and operator for Dillman’s Service Station, and worked for the Department of Revenue until her retirement. Gee loved traveling, camping, crafting, music, playing the organ, flowers, cake decorating, and she was very creative with all aspects of her life, including her family.

She is survived by her husband, David; children, Barb (John) Reimann, David A. (Kay) Dillman, Doug (Patricia) Dillman, Deborah Florin, Laurie Deglau, Donald (Peggy) Dillman, and Brian (Donna) Dillman; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Barry Florin; a brother; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at Noon, on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, with the Rev. Kerri Parker presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
