Violet Moon, age 66, of Mauston, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Serenity House in Tomah, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station, WI with Reverend George Noll officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Lyndon Station Village Cemetery.

Violet was born January 29, 1950 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, the daughter of Erwin and Ellen (Anderson) Siekert. She married Michael Moon in Milwaukee, WI on August 4, 1978. Violet enjoyed playing bingo, tending to her deck gardens and pool, taking care of her Pomeranian dogs, making wedding cakes and helping her husband operate their construction business, Mike’s Home Improvements, LLC.

Violet is survived by her husband, Michael; sons, Raymond (Dawn) Siekert of Mauston, WI; Robert (Missy) Ullrich of Pardeeville, WI and Travis (Angela) Ullrich of Poynette; daughter, Mindy Moon of New Lisbon, WI; brothers, Jeffrey (Julie) Zimbauer of Mauston, WI; sisters, Eunice Coyle of Montello, WI, Jane (Steve) Hansen of Milwaukee, WI, Donna (Jeff) Porth of West Allis, WI and Diane Zimbauer of Montello, WI; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Eugene and Garry Siekert.
