Viola L. “Babe” Randall, 83 of Mauston passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at University Hospitals and Clinics, Madison. Babe was born in Portage, Wisconsin January 26, 1929 the daughter of Henry and Viola (Kliest) Frank. She was married to Thomas Randall and later had 2 sons, Dick and Randy. She loved spending time with her family and friends, planting flowers and taking care of her pets. She enjoyed celebrating the Holidays. Babe was an avid Packers fan. She had the pleasure of making new friends after moving into the Mauston Senior Village and commented often of how nice her neighbors were and how well they took care of her. There was a special place in Babe's heart for her Great Grandchildren, Sophie and Logan, and was looking forward to meeting the 3rd Great Grandchild in December.
Babe is survived by her son Richard (Cheri) Randall of Mauston, grandchildren Brian (Kerry) Randall of Mauston, Andy (Stephanie) Randall of Mauston, Courtney (Garin Gavinski) of Adams, Great grandchildren Sophie and Logan, her siblings Ed (Norma) Frank of Mauston, Fred (Marlene) Frank of Tennessee, Mary (Pete) Peterson of Necedah, Ida Mae (Duane) Pfaff of Oak Creek, Barbie (John) Treganza of New Lisbon, special cousin Lloyd Smith and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, a son Tom and her sister Pauline Knickelbien.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston where friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 1st from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Rose Cemetery.
