MADISON-Un Cha “Yim” Bambrough, age 61, of Madison, was taken from us too soon on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, following a battle with cancer. She was born in Korea on March 4, 1951. Yim met the love of her life, a U.S. Army soldier, Dave Bambrough, when he was stationed in Korea. They were married on April 1, 1975, and Yim came to the United States to begin her new life with Dave. She was a very loving and giving person who loved her grandchildren unconditionally. Yim will always be treasured in the hearts of her family.

Yim is survived by her husband, Dave; daughter, Tina (Tyrone Buckingham) Bambrough and their son, Tyrece; daughter, Charlotte (Jon Thiel) Bambrough and their children, Noah, Pierce, and Isaiah; daughter, Amy (Brian) Stone and their children, Jackson, Maiya, and Aleigh; mother-in-law, Margaret Bambrough; as well as many other special family members. She was preceded in death and welcomed home to heaven by her father-in-law, Robert Bambrough.

A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Agrace HospiceCare, doctors and caregivers, and family and friends for all of their care and support. We thank God for giving this wonderful woman to us; however, God needed another Angel and chose Yim. On-line condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
