STOUGHTON- Steven M. Leslie, age 44, passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on Aug. 11, 1968, the son of Theodore and Joan Leslie. Steven was a graduate of Stoughton High School. He worked in the area at local tobacco farms. Steven enjoyed traveling throughout the United States riding Amtrak with a backpack and his bicycle, stopping at various locations and touring through the countryside.

He is survived by a sister, Susan Leslie of Beaver Dam; nephews, Jesse and Ryan Leikness; niece, Tracy Stolen; along with numerous other relatives and friends he had met throughout the country in his travels. Steven was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Gary and Scott Stolen.

A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51, Stoughton, at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service on Friday. Burial will be at Lutheran South Cemetery.

Steven was a free spirit who lived his life as he wanted and enjoyed his time traveling the earth. Steve knew no stranger because of the lasting impression he left on us all.
