Steven Lee Lintl, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital.
Steve was born in Lancaster on September 29, 1949 to the late Ferry and Margaret (Paepke) Lintl. He attended Sauk Prairie Schools and graduated in 1967. He enlisted in the United States Army and served a year tour in Vietnam. On April 28, 1973 Steve married Linda Grimm at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leland. Steve started working in carpentry at Lester's Agri Buildings, then with H.J Lenerz and Son's, and was a proud co-owner of Eagle Carpentry until he retired in 2011. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with Linda, playing sheepshead, and spending time with his family and grand-children.
Steve is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda. Three children, Lee (Patty Peper) Lintl, Baraboo, Nate (Kerri) Lintl, Poynette, Teri (B.J.) Brunner, Cross Plains, and grand-children; Kinzie and Griffin. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 Oak St., Prairie du Sac with Pastor Fred Rilling officiating. Burial will follow in the Prairie du Sac Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm and one hour prior to the service.
