Stanley J. Rogge, age 81, of Janesville, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at home. He was born in Janesville on March 26, 1935, the son of Fred William and Anna (Vigdahl) Rogge. He graduated from Janesville High School where he excelled in sports. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959. He married Joyce Marie Kutz in Rockton, IL on Feb. 11, 1967, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 24, 2015. Stanley retired in 1992 from Monterey Mills after 20 years, and was an airplane mechanic for Chicago O'Hare Airport and the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and soap box Derbys.

Stanley is survived by his 4 daughters: Teresa (Dennis) Mears, Tammy Oleston, Catrina (Rick) Grover and Carla (Bryan) Kerska; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce; brother and sister-in-law, Harold (Irma) Rogge; and sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Ralph Asplund.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 to 2:00p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2015 Kellogg Ave., Janesville. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Blackhawk Musky Club. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
