Rolland L. Dillin, 80, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek.
Rolland was born on October 22, 1935 in Rockford, IL son of the late Perry and Lucille (Lee) Dillin. He married Patricia Karlin in Manitowoc on October 20, 1956.
Rolland was a 1954 graduate of Fort Atkinson High School and later joined the United States Air Force. He had worked for 30 years at Butler Manufacturing and then worked at Fort Memorial Hospital for 15 years.
Rolland is survived by his wife Patricia of Fort Atkinson; his sons, Keith, Matthew (Bobbie Hazard) and Brett (Teresa Torstenson) all of Fort Atkinson; brother, Roger Dillin of Fort Atkinson; sister, Roberta Sahr of Fort Atkinson; great aunt, Ruth Capron of Rockford IL; special niece, Heather Karlin and many other nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Rodney; sisters-in-law, Mary Dillon and Katherine Streich and a brother-in-law, William Karlin Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Church in the Barn, W6789 Westphal Lane in Fort Atkinson with Pastor William Bartz officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. on Thursday at the church until time of service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
