Randy L. Crawford, 55, of Potosi died on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Southwest Health Center Hospital, Platteville, after a brave battle with cancer.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Lutheran Church of Peace, Platteville. Rev. Jeff Pedersen will officiate. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the Randy L. Crawford Memorial Fund. Randy was born on March 20, 1957 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, the son of James and Arlene (Olson) Crawford. He lived and worked in Southwest Wisconsin and Houston, Texas where he did construction and was a self-employed flooring contractor. In 1991 he returned to Southwest Wisconsin and worked for J. R. Crawford Construction, Dickeyville, his father’s construction business. Randy loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and morel hunting.

He is survived by his three daughters, Morgan and Devon Crawford of Madison; Tia (Ross) Williams-Bodenheimer of Wausau, WI and their mother, Sue Williams; two grandchildren, Lillian and Claire; parents, James and Arlene Crawford of Dickeyville; three sisters, Laurie (“Dutch”) Kinzler of Longwood, FL; Donna (Keith Stone) Crawford of Maquoketa, IA; Julie Crawford of Platteville; three brothers, Ron (Darlene) Crawford of Dickeyville; Gary Crawford of Cuba City, WI; and Dave Crawford, of Boscobel, WI; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
