Prudy Marie Albis, age 41, joined her mom and dad the early morning hours of Friday, Sept. 9, 2016. She was born on June 21, 1975, the first beautiful daughter born to Vern and Sharon (Barto) Arzt.

Prudy grew up in the Sauk Prairie area for 15 years. After losing her mother to cancer in 1989, her father met Judy and the family moved to Oregon. Prudy graduated from Madison Memorial High School in June of 1993. She worked at DJ's Steakhouse and Shakey's Pizza. She also babysat her nieces, Mackenzie and Aurora. Prudy has dealt with a brain tumor attached to all her vitals since she was 19 years old. There have been many surgeries, MRIs, radiation, etc., more than anyone should have to deal with. But Prudy accepted and dealt with it, all through her strong will to live. She enjoyed taking care of the house, babysitting, shopping and fishing.

Prudy is survived by her daughter, Sofia; son, Alex; step-daughter, Marisa; siblings, Teresa Arzt and Valerie (Matt) Lang; step-brothers, Steve (Meghan) Owens, Jeff (Sue) Owens, Dan (Jen Crayne) Dent and Dave Dent; many nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Aurora; special friend, Steve Carpenter; father of her children, Juan Albis; and step-mom, Judy Arzt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sharon (Barto) Arzt on July 4, 1989 and Vern Arzt on Aug. 19, 2015; and her grandparents, Francis (Winnie) Arzt, Glen (Evelyn) Barto and Herman (Inez) Brown.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL HOME, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 11:30 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Prairie du Sac Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
