Pearl Elizabeth Woodliff, age 88, of Las Vegas and formerly of Janesville, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, in Las Vegas. She was born in Stone Lake Township, WI on Sept. 5, 1923. The daughter of Forrest H. and Elizabeth S. (Gaynor) Tripp. She married Wayne H. Woodliff in Spooner, WI on June 4, 1946, and to this union four children were born. Wayne preceded her in death on December 30, 1989. Pearl taught school in Wisconsin and Sunday School for 25 years and enjoyed world travels.

Pearl is survived by her 3 children: Candyce Woodliff, Janesville, Bette (Enrique) Woodliff-Rea, Las Vegas and Patricia (Wilson) (Al) Aslakson, New Glarus; 2 grandchildren, Andrew Wayne Wilson, Norfolk, VA and Elizabeth Louise Aslakson, New Glarus; sisters, Marjorie Landsinger, Onalaska, Doreen Andrews, Fond du lac; and brothers, Clovis Tripp of Bimamwood, and Keith Tripp, Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Gary Wayne Woodliff; and son-in law, Robert Wilson.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Dahl Funeral Home, 221 Elm St., Spooner, WI with Rev. Nicole Espe officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Dahl Funeral Home. Interment will be in Earl Cemetery, Earl, WI.
