Paul Craig, 79, passed away March 18, 2013. Paul was born July 4, 1933 in Oconomowoc, son of John and Pauline (Norseng) Craig. He attended Dartmouth College and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Animal Husbandry. Paul was preceded in death by the love of his life, Carole.
Paul was employed by Wilson Packing Company as a livestock buyer in Albert Lea, MN and Sioux Falls, SD. In 1959 he returned to Madison to enter the business of managing farms for absentee owners and still had a few favorite clients. He strived to make the rural community a better place to live, work and play. Paul was a charter member and past president of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He enjoyed his Canadian fishing trips, traveling with his friendly vehicle, an avid Badger and Packer fan, and watching his grandchildren grow.
Survivors include children Lisa (Steve) Powell, Lynn (Rod) Heller, and Steve (Jaci) Craig; grandchildren Becky, Jenna, Anthony, Taylor, Carson, and great-grandchild Cora.
Friends are invited to a celebration of life at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 326 S Segoe Rd, Madison, WI 53705 on Thursday, March 21st. Visitation will be held at 12:30pm with a memorial service at 1:30pm and an informal gathering to follow.
