Mt. Horeb/Middleton/Verona--Patricia L. Stewart, age 75, of Mt. Horeb, formerly Middleton and Verona, died peacefully on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Ingleside Nursing Home in Mt. Horeb.
She was born June 11, 1937 in Storm Lake, Iowa the daughter of Ivan and Helen (Bargar) Everett. She married Jerry Stewart in 1956 and they were blessed with two daughters. They later divorced and Patricia devoted herself to raising the girls, and excelled at being both mom and dad to them. She never took life too seriously, and will be remembered for her entertaining sense of humor which she held onto until her final hours. She delighted in time spent with family and enjoyed life’s everyday simple pleasures.
Pat will be missed by her by two daughters, Kim Emerson of Kenosha, Kelley (Sean) Short of Black Earth; three grandchildren, Brianna Emerson of Oneonta, NY, Janessa Emerson of Windsor, Karissa Emerson of Kenosha; two sisters, Janice (Sandy) Patrizio of West Lake Village, CA, Marcia (Don) Christensen of St. Joe, MO; a great-granddaughter expected in February; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Helen Everett.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, with Reverend Dietrich Gruen officiating.Burial will follow at Middleton Junction Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
