Norman P. Draeger, 67 of Fort Atkinson, died Monday, September 12, 2016 at his apartment.

Norman was born August 12, 1949, in Fort Atkinson, son of Clarence and Dorothy (Frey) Draeger.

Norman attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and graduated with an Agriculture Education degree. Norman served his country in the US Army National Guard. In his early working years, Norman worked for Production Credit Association as a loan officer in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Later he was an Agriculture teacher in Janesville and finished his working life as a farmer and caregiver for his mom and dad in their later years.

Norman enjoyed competing at Wii bowling and table tennis at the Fort Atkinson Area Senior Center. He loved getting together with friends at Mc Donald’s every morning and spending time with family. Norman loved traveling with family and friends.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Dorothy Draeger. Norman leaves behind three brothers, Larry from Fort Atkinson, Rodney (Barbara) of Onalaska and Dennis (Randi) of Fargo, ND; 10 nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. on Friday at the memorial home until time of service. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
