MADISON – Mary G. Andrews, age 90, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer.

Mary was born on April 20, 1926 in Madison, WI to Henry and Emma Gerling. She graduated from Madison East High school in 1943. Shortly after graduation she began her career as a banker. Mary went on to work for 39.5 years, retiring as a Vice President of American Exchange Bank. She married the love of her life, Arnold “Curly” Andrews, on September 8, 1951. Mary enjoyed flower gardening, embroidery, bead work, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Curly; daughter, Barbara (Marc) Musser; grandchildren, Julie (Jeffrey) Jensen, Kevin (Sara) Musser, and Jill (Gary) Breedlove; great grandchildren, Chris, Bronte, Laudin, Declan, Perrin, and Aurelia; and sister Emma Paradise. She is further survived by other family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Margaret “Maggie” Breedlove and brother Henry Gerling.

Private services will be held at a later date.
