Sun Prairie/Belleville, WI--Mary E. Drunasky, age 91, of Sun Prairie and formerly the Belleville area passed away on Friday, November 09, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. in Fitchburg. She was born on March 27, 1921 in Madison to her parents Edward and Henrietta (Duschak) Sarbacker. Mary attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1940. Later she graduated from the Madison Business College. On October 24, 1950 she was united in marriage to Roman “Red” Drunasky. Mary worked for the State of Wisconsin at the Department of Public Instruction and Department of Workforce Development until retiring in 1986 after forty-four years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sun Prairie. Mary loved to play bingo and cards. She took great pride in keeping her home tidy. Mary also enjoyed knitting, reading, ceramics, and was an avid football and hockey fan.
Mary is survived by her sister Barbara (Lester) Palmer, brothers-in-law LeRoy (Nancy) Drunasky and Leo Drunasky, a sister-in-law Esther Sarbacker, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roman in 1959, and a brother Joseph Sarbacker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2012 at St. William’s Catholic Church, 1371 County Rd. PB, Paoli, WI with the Rev. William Vernon officiating with burial in the St. Williams Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday, November 12, 2012 at St. William’s Catholic Church in Paoli.
