Margaret A. Langer, age 46, of Rockford and formerly of Milton, WI, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Alden Park Strathmoor, Rockford, IL. She was born in Janesville on March 23, 1970, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Ramona (Williams) Langer. Margaret was proud to be an Easter Seals Poster Child in 1981. She graduated from Milton High School in 1988, and was a graduate of Blackhawk Technical College in 1996. She worked as a data entry operator at Milton Data. She loved her work at Milton West Elementary School as a lunch room attendant and also enjoyed volunteering as a reading tutor for the students. As a young lady she loved Camp Waubeek near the Dells, and also did therapeutic riding at 4-Beats in Milton. She loved puzzles, cross-stitch, needlework, horses, stamp collecting, her hamster, Snoopy and the Peanuts, and her many stuffed animals. She especially loved her computer, which allowed her to stay in touch with friends and family. She loved to spend time with her family, especially playing games with her nieces and nephews.

Margaret is survived by her mother; Ramona Langer; sisters: Helen Sweeney of Edgerton, Becky (Tom) Wirth of Jefferson, Rita (Lee) Arnold of Janesville, and Katherine (Don) Owens of Edgerton; and her brothers: John (Cheryl) of Edgerton, Tom (Robin) of Evansville, Joe (Barb) of Edgerton, Bob (Mary) of Jefferson, Carl (Wendy) of Janesville, and Larry (Bobbie Lee) of Janesville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; niece, Jessi Langer; and brother-in-law, Alan Mittelstadt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, Milton with Rev. Dave Timmerman officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, and again on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church.
