STOUGHTON -On Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, Keith (K.W. Or Bake) Baker unexpectedly passed away in his home. Keith was born on Oct. 22, 1926, and was 86 years old. He was born in Bartlesville , OK. Keith was preceeded in death by his father, Charles Baker; and mother, Lilie (Webb) Baker.

Keith entered into the U.S. Navy when he was 17 to serve during World War II. He was one of the few to be witness of the flag raising at Iwo Jima. Keith worked on the Pipeline for forty years all across the United States. When Keith was done with the Pipeline he was a farmer for several years in Stoughton. He worked for many different construction companies. He then became a Wal-Mart employee until his retirement. Keith enjoyed yard work, Christmas lights, and fishing. He was a family man that loved his children and grandchildren.

Keith is survived by his wife, Phoebe Baker; son, Ronald (Linda) Huebner; daughters, Diane (Brian) Gjermo and Jo Ann (Steve) Gallagher; grandchildren, Ronda Huebner, Ryan Huebner, Jonathan Gallagher, and Matthew Gallagher; and many close friends.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy 51, Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, with a Masonic service and military honors being conducted. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
