Stoughton- Jill Eileen (Babcock) Rybak passed away peacefully in the presence of her daughters on Monday, December 10, 2012. Jill was born on April 8, 1941, daughter of Richard and Eileen Babcock, in Frederic, Wisconsin.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Rybak Buchanan and Katherine Rybak (Carol Mitchell Rybak), granddaughters Alexandra Mitchell, Danielle Mitchell, McKenzie Rybak, and Nina Buchanan, and her sister, Susan Adair. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jill graduated from Frederic High School in 1959 and from Stout University in 1966. She was a home economics teacher at Augusta High School from 1966 to 1981 when a brain aneurysm and stroke forced her retirement. She was a kind, gentle, loving, and gracious mother and grandmother. Her resiliency inspired us, and her sense of humor and quirky phrases brought smiles to those surrounding her.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the caring staff at Skaalen Nursing Home in Stoughton, WI.

A memorial service will be held in Frederic in May, 2013. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jill Rybak Memorial Fund at the Bank of Sun Prairie, 228 East Main Street, Sun Prairie, WI, 53590. All gifts received to this fund will be used to cover funeral expenses, with remainder to be donated to a local charity in memory of Jill.
