Jeanette R. Walsh, age 87, of Monona, passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on April 14, 1929, in Belgium, Wis., the daughter of Aloys and Clara Reiter.
She married Eugene Walsh on June 16, 1951, in Lake Church, Wis. Jeanette graduated in 1947 from Port Washington High School. She was a secretary for many years until Eugene returned from Korea, at which time she helped in their medical office. Jeanette was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She devoted her life to her daughters.
Jeanette is survived by her husband of 65 years, Dr. Eugene; daughter, Sharon Walsh; son-in-law, Dr. Dan Kenan; two grandchildren, Alexandra Kenan and Anna Kenan; siblings, Marjorie (Frank) Bley, Betty Hubacek; brother-in-law, Gerald Debroux; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dr. Kim Walsh; sister, Shirley Debroux; and brother-in-law, Roger Hubacek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, with Msgr. Raymond Kertz presiding. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Saturday.
