Henrietta Mary Olson, 87 of Mauston, WI passed away Friday, October 26, 2012.

Henrietta was born September 29, 1925 in Germantown Necedah, Wisconsin the daughter of Joseph and Alma (Hamstengel) May.

Henrietta was united in marriage to Earle E. Olson on November 6, 1945 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and then returned to Mauston, Wisconsin and had their church wedding at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Henrietta was an avid flea marketer in her later years. In her earlier years she worked at Hansen’s Department Store. Henrietta was well known as the Avon Lady, as she was the Avon Representative for the Mauston area. Henrietta was a very busy homemaker raising eight children while her husband was truck driving for Glendenning. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

She is survived by seven children Rosanne (Earl) Pollock of Cazenovia, Michael (Christine) Olson of Neenah, Debbie (Spike) Lindley of Tomah, Craig (Daria) Olson of Elroy, Alan Olson of Mauston, James Olson of Necedah, Kristine (Bill) Fosbinder of Mauston, 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and also survived by a brother William May, special friends Sally Kloser and Marcella Jakim and many relatives and friends.

Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband Earle, a special daughter Donna, her parents and her brothers Bud May, Ralph May and her sister Adeline Nelson.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church where friends may call from Noon until time of services.

Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude.
