MADISON-Frank B. Cook, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016.

He was born in Milford, Ohio, June 27, 1923, the son of Charles and Esther (Robertson) Cook, Sr. He married Maxine Clinger on Oct. 13, 1950. Frank served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Served in the 71st Infantry Div., 571st Signal Company (Communications). As a young boy, he was a Great Dane dog walker. Later, he worked for a book bindery and eventually for Wisconsin Bell as a telephone repairman for 34 years. He was a member of Sons of the Pioneers.

Frank is survived by his children, Karla (Richard) Olson, Rick (Timmi) Ryerson, Terry (Gary) Anderson, Shelley Neal and Kevin Cook; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven great- great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Flint and Ruth (Harry) Templeton. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine; son, Bruce; and son-in-law, Dennis Neal. A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 12 noon until 3 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016, with military rites conducted.
