Francis Honer
Francis Honer, age 89, a 30 year resident of Eagle River and formerly of Richland County died on Friday, October 5, 2012 at his home in Eagle River. He was born January 16, 1923 in Richland Center the son of Joseph and Helen Honer. He was a dairy farmer in Richland County for many years. Later he owned and operated “Honer’s Gullrock Bay” fishing camp in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada. Francis was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling.
Francis was preceded in death by
his wife Madeline in 1989 and his brother Henry.

his daughter Mary Kunau of Eagle River, Wisconsin
his son John (Mary) Honer of Cazenovia
his sister: Ann Duhr of Lone Rock, Wisconsin
grandchildren: Mark (Denise) Honer

Tom (Amber) Kunau
great grandchildren: Tristan Honer, Brogan Honer, Jordan Kunau, Jovie Kunau
his close friend: Barb Weidenbauer
other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the PRATT MEMORIAL CHAPEL. Pastor Conrad Prell will officiate and burial will be in the Sextonville Cemetery. Visitaiton for Francis Honer will be at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the service time at 1:00 PM. The Gaffney-Busha funeral home of Eagle River and the Pratt Funeral Service are serving the Honer family.
