VERONA – Ella R. Forsythe, age 85, had been fighting a very difficult battle with cancer and her suffering ended on March 16, 2013. She has won the battle to be with God. Ella was born in Pennsylvania to Francis Edward and Daisy Deyarmin on March 12, 1928. She attended Cramer High, and then moved on to be married in 1949 to George “Uncle Pete” Forsythe. Ella visited the state of Wisconsin many times and never wanted to leave. She chose to reside here in 2003, enjoying her life and the freedom of being on her own.

Ella is survived by her son, David; sister, Janet Primakow; siblings, Claire, Donald and Daniel Deyarmin; and son-in-law, Daniel Thornberry. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, Diana Thornberry, who also battled their own cancers.
