STOUGHTON-Derek G. Reible, age 30, passed away unexpectedly, as the result of an automobile accident, in which he was a passenger, on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012. He was born on May 2, 1982, in Fridley, Minn.,the son of Greg and Linda (Lawson) Reible. Derek graduated from Stoughton High School with the class of 2000, and lived life to the fullest. He worked with his father at Embassy Controls for 15 years. Derek had a passion for football and fast cars, especially his Mustang. He loved his daughters, his friends and his pitbull, Monty and was good to everyone. Derek always had a smile on his face, befriended everyone and was known for his big heart and outspoken opinions. He always said “I’m going to go out having fun!”

Derek is survived by his parents, Greg and Linda; daughters, Emily and Kaitlyn ; the mother of his children, Jessica Reible; sister, Kelsey (Reible) Frickelton; niece and nephew, Mckayla and Konner ; maternal grandmother, Ann Lawson; paternal grandparents, Earl and Sadie Reible; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Milton Lawson.

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51 N, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec 8, 2012. A time of fellowship and refreshments will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. There will be no visitation.
