STOUGHTON-Darlene Chapman, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on Feb. 2, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Walter and Joanne Funk. Darlene worked at Walgreens until her retirement in 2008. She was an active, lifelong member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and generously volunteered her time at the Stoughton Library, Senior Center, Skaalen Nursing Home, and Stoughton Hospital. Darlene enjoyed gardening, and collecting antiques and dolls. She also loved animals.

Darlene is survived by her son, Don Chapman; grandchildren, Whitney, Jeffrey, and Shelby Chapman. sister-in-law, Patricia Schwartz; and aunt, Millie Sanecki. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joanne Smaglik; father, Walter Funk; sister, Lorraine in 1995; and uncle, Ted Sanecki.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Darlene will be celebrated at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren, Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, with Monsignor Gerard Healy presiding. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to St. Ann Catholic Church.
