Beatrice A. Todd
Beatrice A. Todd, age 87, a lifelong Janesville resident, passed away early Saturday morning, January 5, 2013 at her home following a brief illness. She was born September 6, 1925 in Janesville, the daughter of the late Edmund & Grace (Keating) Fuelleman. Bea attended St. Patrick's Catholic Grade School, and then attended Janesville High School, graduating in the Class of 1943. On May 29, 1954 she married Harold A. Todd at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on February 24, 2012.
Bea was a very accomplished tennis player, and was the 3rd ranked women's tennis player in the State of Wisconsin. She had worked at Parker Pen Co. as the secretary to the Vice President until becoming a stay-at-home Mom when her children were born. She and Harold loved tending their garden, and she enjoyed canning much of their bounty. She loved to travel, and they made many journeys around the country. But Bea's greatest joy came from her family and she loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren! She was a very devoted Mom especially to her daughter, Amy.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She will be remembered by all as a woman of deep conviction and a profound faith in her church.
Bea is survived by her 4 children, John (Lynne) Todd, of Janesville, Betsy (Dave) Eisner, of Mukwonago, WI, Mary Jane Malan and Amy Todd, both also of Janesville, her 7 grandsons, Nick (Stacy) Todd, Adam Todd, A.J., Aaron, and Andre Lopez, Andrew and Will Eisner, her great-granddaughter, Braelynn Lopez, her 2 sisters, Bonni (Richard) Austin, of Janesville, and Suzee (Joseph) Muetzel, of Urbandale, IA, her 3 sisters-in-law, Marcella Bellmer, of Oconomowoc, WI, Dorothy Fritz, of Fond du Lac, WI, and Viola Wille, of Rogers, AR, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, John Todd, Jr., 2 sisters, Judie Stevens and Jane Richards, and by her brother, Robert Fuelleman.
