Arthur E. Jarstad, age 79, of Janesville, died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, at home after enjoying his last Packer win. He was born in Jackson County, WI on Jan. 5, 1937, the son of Arthur and Myrtle (Nelson) Jarstad. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Wiese Jarstad; 3 children: Bruce (Renee) Jarstad, Gary (Tasha) Jarstad and Pam (Chris) Lawrence; 3 step children: John Mathews, David (Kristi) Wiese and Diane (Jeff) Williams; 15 grandchildren: Kyle, Katy, Joe, Kylie, Matthew, Mason, Gabrielle, Andrea, Johnny, Daniel (Bre), Dana, Tyler, Erika, Ryan and Derek; 2 great grandchildren, Khloe and Jillian; 3 sisters: Ilene (Frank) Scholze, Ardella Hayes and Lynda (Orville) Hagen; and many other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Stan and Mike Jarstad; mother of his children, Karmen Jarstad; and former wife, Joyce Jarstad.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016, at ST. PETER LUTHERAN CHURCH with Rev. Bruce Gray officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in North Field, WI at a later date. SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
