MADISON – Adelle Pauline Bilzing, age 84, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at St. Mary’s Care Center. She was born on Jan. 19, 1928, in Orange County, Calif., the daughter of Kryle and Rosealine Morris. Adelle married Russel Bilzing on Oct. 14, 1949, in Madison. She loved to quilt, sew and knit. She was a creative and very artistic quilter and belonged to Mad City Quilters. Her second favorite hobby was knitting and everyone who knew her and loved her owns an Adelle designed scarf. Pauline and her husband Russel loved to travel and belonged to the Friendship Force. As a result they both have left footprints all over the world. For the last five years Adelle lived at St. Mary’s Care Center which quickly became her second home.
Adelle is survived by her daughters, Dr. Deborah Bilzing (son-in-law, Mike Deiters); and Cynthia Bilzing; and her grandson, Brett Bilzing and his wife, Nicole (Germann) Bilzing She is further survived by her nieces, Isabelle (Rick) Moore, Maggie Lehr; and nephew, Morgan Lehr; along with grand-niece, Andre (Jimmy) Person; and great-nephew, Chuck Lehr. Adelle was adorned by her grandson, Brett, with whom she spent a lot of time. They made quite a pair. Brett and Nicole brought lots of love and joy into her life. Adelle was preceded in death by her mother, Rosealine, and father, Kryle Morris; husband, Russel; a sister, RoseMarie; and brother-in-law, Charles Lehr.
Funeral services will be held at ST. MARY’S CARE CENTER, 3401 Maple Grove Drive, Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012. She will be missed by her loving family and especially by all the wonderful staff and friends she had at St. Mary’s Care Center.
