MONONA/HOLLANDALE-Aaron R. Schneider, age 33, of Monona, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, as a result of a tragic automobile accident. He was born on May 14, 1979, in Madison, the son of Randy Schneider and Kathy (Stonestreet) Wubbenhorst. Aaron grew up in the Madison and Hollandale area and attended Monona Grove High School. Aaron was a sensitive and caring son and brother. He enjoyed being a “Grease Monkey”, camping, video games, helping and spending time with friends. Most of all, Aaron enjoyed spending time with his nephew and niece. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Randy of Hollandale and Kathy (Tim) Wubbenhorst of Monona; brother, Jeremy Stonestreet of Mineral Point; sister, Michael (Mike) Katzke of Monona; nephew and niece, Ethan and Elaina Katzke; grandparents, Carl “Cuddy” and Patricia Schneider of Hollandale and Elaine Stonestreet of Dodgeville; along with numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rufus T. “Stoney” Stonestreet.
A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, with Brenda Haskins-Borcherding presiding. A private family burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
Aaron’s family would like to request in lieu of flowers, memorials be designated to the MADD Chapter of the donor’s choice.
