Tressa Vivian (Hall) Strang, 98, of Richland Center passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Pine Valley Healthcare.

She was born on March 19, 1915, daughter of Joseph and Charlotta Hall. Tressa married Francis Strang on October 13, 1934. They were blessed with four children and enjoyed 56 years of marriage until Joseph’s death. They farmed in Gays Mills, and she taught school at Yankeetown, grades 1-8. Then they moved to Richland Center and farmed until retirement. In her later years, she enjoyed bird watching, gardening, and radio. She lived with her daughter for 40 years.

Survivors include her children: Joseph (Carol) Strang of Richland Center, Frederick (Margie) Strang of North Carolina, and Eva Jeffers of Richland Center; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Tressa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; her sister, Margaret; her youngest son, James; her grandchild, Dawn; and her great-grandchild, Harvey.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center. Friends may call the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 9:00am until the time of the service at 12:00 PM.
