Timothy Roger Stowers

Timothy R. Stowers, age 50 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 18, 2013 at his residence due to a massive heart attack.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Michael Richel celebrating. Burial will be at the Newport Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Thursday at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Tim was born March 19, 1963 in Portage, Wisconsin the son of Roger and Gaylene (Roeker) Stowers. He attended Wisconsin Dells schools, graduating in 1981 and then attended UW-Stevens Point and graduated in 1986. He was a gifted student in academics and athletics where he excelled in football, wrestling and track. In 1990 he married Bonnie Ullrich.

For the past 23 years beginning in 1990, Tim was employed as a materials specialist for D.L. Gasser and Milestone Materials, division of Mathy, located in Baraboo, Wisconsin. He had enjoyed golfing, hunting, and Nascar races and was an avid Badger and Packer fan. Attending his childrens sporting events and school activities were highlights of his life.

Tim is survived by his children; son, Kyle, who attends Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; daughter, Kassandra of Wisconsin Dells; parents, Roger and Gaylene Stowers of Wisconsin Dells and sister, Tammy (Bill) Stowers-Tonn and their children Samantha and Nicholas of Wisconsin Dells. Also surviving are Tim's in-laws Ed and Donna Ullrich of Pardeeville, Wisconsin and Tim's brother-in-law, Mark Ulllrich of Wyocena, Wisconsin and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his dear wife and best friend, Bonnie, in 1997.
