Kathe was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 481 for 25 plus years, she was a member of Parkside Presbyterian Church, Eagles Auxiliary #623, the Wisc. Button Society, and the National Button Society.

Kathe was an avid flower gardener, spending 8-10 hours at a time fighting weeds and admiring the results. She was a Packer fan, and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing, family camping and traveling the world.

Kathe enjoyed her second home in Branson, MO. She and Pete attended many types of music shows and visiting with friends and family in the area. Kathe also was an avid reader of books.
