Edward H. “Buster” Pack III, age 56, of Dodgeville, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Lancaster Care Center following a 25 year battle with M.S.

Ed was born on September 22, 1957 in Mckeesport, PA to Edward and Genevieve (Jaskolski) Pack. Following graduation from Ledyard High School in 1976, Ed joined the U.S. Navy. He married the former Shari Mindham on May 8, 1982. After serving his country in all corners of the world, he retired to Dodgeville in 1992. Ed then worked for Terry Mindham Landscaping until his illness prevented him from physical labor. He was a member of the Mineral Point D.A.V#67 and the Paralyzed American Veterans. His greatest joy was time spent with his family. He also enjoyed drawing comic books, music, cooking and baking.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Pack and Victor’s former wife, Lanora Bellinger.

Ed is survived by his wife, Shari of Dodgeville; a son, Mikeal (Elizabeth) Pack of Dodgeville; a daughter, Laura (Scott) Schwartz of Janesville; two grandchildren, Ian and Hudson Pack; his parents, Edward and Genevieve Pack of Ledyard, CT; a brother, Timothy (Linda) Pack of Alton, RI; two sisters, Renee Pack of Lewiston, ME and Colette (Kurtiss) Hullinger of Bradford, RI; Shari’s parents, Terry and Connie Mindham of Boscobel; a sister-in-law, Terri Lynn (James) Waters of Sinking Springs, PA; three brothers-in-law, Tyson (Lisa) Mindham of Blue Mounds; Kevin (Megan) Mindham of Sun Prairie and Darren Mindham of Wauzeka as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Lulloff-Peterson-Houck Funeral Home in Dodgeville with Fr. Patrick Wendler officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday after 5:00 P.M. Inurnment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paralyzed American Veterans.
