John Hall, age 83 and lifelong resident of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston, Wisconsin.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Valentine Joseph celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station on Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. and on Saturday from 9 to 10:15 A.M. and then process to the church.
John was born December 8, 1929 in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin the son of Clarence and Rose (Krivitz) Hall. In August of 1950 he married Rita Mitchell at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
John had been a postal clerk and rural mail carrier working out of the Lyndon Station office and he retired in 1990. Along with his wife Rita, they owned and operated the Country Store from 1966 to 1987.
John is survived by his wife, Rita; daughters, Nataline Kranz, Patricia (Ron) Thompson, and Marcia Hall all of Lyndon Station and Kimberly (Erik Hauser) Hall of Libertyville, Illinois; a brother, James (Judy) Hall of Lyndon Station; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother in law, Leo Drea of Lyndon Station; and sisters in law, Adeline Mitchell of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, Rosemary Lupo of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Mary Claire (Merlin) Marshall of Mauston. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clarence, Jr.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lyndon Station Volunteer Fire Department or the charity of choice.
