Madison-David W. Buege, age 84, died peacefully on April 17, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on January 25, 1929 to Fred and Alice (Way) Buege. During Dave’s last days he enjoyed reminiscing about the good times with his family and friends.

Dave married Hazel Combs on November 19, 1949. He was a devoted and loving husband to Hazel who was blind and disabled. Dave worked for years at the old Thomas Bakery in Madison and later retired from the Hill Farm Coffee Shop of Madison as owner/operator. He enjoyed his retirement reading, gardening, going for walks and cruising around Madison on his mobility scooter.

Dave is survived by his sons, Larry, Rick (Carol), and Jeff (Patti); daughter, Cheryl; grandchildren, Megan, Michael, Nick, Rachel and Tabitha; and a brother, Tom.

He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel, 2 brothers, 2 sisters a grandson and a son-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Ave. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wisconsin Council for the Blind.
