DEFOREST / WAUZEKA - Amy Jane Steinbach passed away on March 19 at Haack’s TenderCare in Sun Prairie WI. She was born to Martin and Mary Quinn on Aug. 7, 1916. Amy married Archie Steinbach on May 28, 1938. Together they were wonderful examples for their five children Rita Cipra (Robert), Janice Beloungy (Larry), Donald Steinbach (Shar Cox), Karen Lavallee (Ray) and Dianne Steinbach.
Amy was most proud of her family and they always came first in her life. Her religious conviction gave her strength to endure anything in her life and gave her peace through her transition to heaven. Amy was a friend to all who met her and was always treated like family. She was gentle and compassionate and could always find good in everyone. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and extended families.
Amy is survived by four children, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Archie, her first born Rita, granddaughter Tina and all of her siblings; William Quinn, Dan Quinn, Mary Mara, LaVern Quinn and Margaret Ronnfeldt.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST.OLAF CATHOLIC CHURCH, 623 Jefferson St, DeForest, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday March 22, 2013, with Father Robert Butz presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Friday. Private burial at Wauzeka Cemetery with lunch gathering at Sacred Heart Catholic Hall at 3:30 p.m.
