A DeForest woman was arrested after she entered a restaurant in downtown Madison and started yelling about a bomb that was about to go off, according to a news release from Madison police.
Officers were called at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday to Red Sushi at 316 W. Washington Ave., where about 25 customers and employees witnessed the incident.
Police said the woman began counting down from 10 and ordered people to “get on the ground, on your hands and knees.” She said, “It’s going to blow up,” according to the release.
The manager asked the woman to leave, but she refused and police were called. Police said she struggled with officers and was taken to jail.
Jennifer J. Minick, 31, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
