Woman walking downtown assaulted
Victim able to free herself, run to safety
A woman walking on Henry Street early Monday morning was grabbed and touched inappropriately by a stranger, according to Madison police.
The 21-year-old victim told police she was walking to work and had just turned off Langdon Street when the attack occurred at 5:45 a.m.
The woman was able to break free and run to safety.
The attacker is described as black, 6 feet tall, with a slender build and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
