Woman eats only Starbucks food for a year
Beautiful Existence spent $500 to $600 a month as part of a personal challenge
A Seattle woman spent $500 to $600 a month and ate nothing but food from Starbucks for all of 2013.
Beautiful Existence, 40, (yes that's her real name) ate breakfast, lunch and dinner from Starbucks every day as part of a challenge she set for herself at the beginning of last year.
She could only eat food sold at Starbucks or a "Starbucks-inspired" store or brand like Tazo Tea, Roy Street Coffee and Evolution Fresh.
"WHY? am I doing this challenge? Or WHY? will I do any challenge in the future? Because I LOVE being human and I LOVE the privilege of being able to ask the question WHY? in the first place!" she wrote on her blog.
While she had plenty of variety to choose from, Existence told the New York Daily News her Starbucks diet got a bit monotonous toward the end.
"In the last month, in the last couple weeks, it's been really difficult. People had pizza at the office last week and I was dying," she said. "I'm happy to be able to eat whatever I want (again)."
