MADISON, Wis. -

The University of Wisconsin-Madison is the American university with the second-most students, current and alumni, competing in the Sochi Olympics, according to Business Insider.

The University of Minnesota, the University of Utah and Dartmouth College are behind UW in the top five, but Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah, landed the top spot with 23 athletes.

UW’s 10 athletes are competing in two sports. Erika Brown is competing in the curling competition, and Brianna Decker, Meghan Duggan, Hilary Knight, Ryan McDonagh, Joe Pavelski, Derek Stepan, Ryan Suter and Jessie Vetter are competing on the U.S. men’s and women’s hockey teams.

Brown competed in the first round of women’s curling Monday.

The U.S. men’s hockey team will take on Slovakia in their first game of the Sochi Olympics on Thursday. The U.S. women’s hockey team won its first two games against Finland and Switzerland.
