PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -

University police are seeking information to help locate two stolen specialty vehicles.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville said someone broken into Pioneer Stadium Sunday at 6:11 a.m. and made off with a red tractor, loader and a small utility vehicle.

A 2013 red Case IH Farmall 50B tractor, a loader and the 2012 green and yellow John Deere Gator the tractor was hauling were stored under the stadium in a fenced-in area. The thief cut the padlock to gain access to the vehicles, the university said.

There were no keys for the tractor or Gator, according to the news release. The tracks stopped just out of the view of the security cameras, which officials said could mean the vehicles were loaded onto a trailer.

University police asked for anyone with information about the theft or about vehicles at Pioneer Stadium Sunday morning to call 608-342-1584 or email Officer Reginald Ihm at ihmr@uwplatt.edu.
